During my trip to Vietnam I was able to visit Phu Quoc, and island to the south west of Vietnam's coast. This island has a lot of history, many years ago it was once a prison for different purposes. It was first built by the French and then used by the Southern Vietnamese and United States during the Vietnam War. Nowadays the prison destination has become a tourist attraction, for travelers and historians curious about the treacherous times it once held. Being it is a beautiful island with beautiful greenery and climates, many companies are building resorts, with properties fenced off, I was able to see that this island will develop very much. It even has the longest cable ride in the world.
